Bitly.TV for seeing what other people are doing
If you’re still refusing to go on Twitter because it’s been on the news and is popular and you’re a bit busy listening to Rage Against the Machine, you won’t know about Bit.ly. It’s a URL-shortening service, so people can share links without having the http://www.websiteaddress/wp-content/uploads part of the address taking up all the space needed for acerbic and ironic commentary.
Anyway, Bit.ly now has Bitly.TV, a list of automatically-generated links to the most popular videos that are currently being shared online.
None of you will care about this, we are starting to realise, but the image has already been captured and inserted so we may as well press on with it.
That’s what the public are watching on Bitly.TV. Stupid public. We assume there will soon be one based around porn arriving soon.

That does indeed seem a bit suspiciously bile free. You’ve sold out. Which is a very nonconformist thing to do, or something.
But yes, I do avoid Twitter because more people than I know about it. I won’t however be listening to RATM, because they are as corporate, corrupt and Capitalist as Simon Cowell. At least Cowell doesn’t hide behind pretend ethics. He’s a shit and upfront about it, not a shit pretending to be alternative. I’d like to point out I don’t know anything at all about RATM and am casting aspersions upon their name for fun and to make it look like I know something you don’t.
No, I’ll be listening to Jacques Brel and Scott Walker this Christmas in private defiance, ultimately ending with my sad and lonely death, without even the comfort of knowing I was right. I mean when I’m old, that wasn’t code for me killing myself or anything.
