Thanks. Always nice to encounter someone who can write that many words in a row. I haven't done that many in a row for years now.

Greetings Idiot :(,

The photo here shows three new categories by itself:
1) Beards--This allows real beards, and fake beards, both as one category,
2) Belts Which Do Not Look Like the Usual Crap,
3) Products of Stupid Advertising Directors.
Also, "Trees So Fake That they LOOK Fake", might work.

Frankly, this is the ONLY place I have found, which makes fun of Real Life THINGS. No Karl Rove, celebrities, bad talk, or other dross.
Just things which are funny. One place along the bus trip to work was a house which looked like a face (NO photos, of course!!). Whoever lived there had put looking-to-the-right pupils in the "eye" windows, using paper the size of the windows.
I loved it, and still think about it. I could go there to see whether it is still there, but the trip sucks, and that was twenty years ago! [For those who want to know: San Pablo Avenue, between McDonald Avenue in Richmond, but before University in Berkeley.]
Google says Everett and Jones Barbeque is at San Pablo and University. Maybe I will go there. The bus ride---I live forty miles north---will take about three hours each way. E&J is worth the trip! [Well, what it was long ago, is worth the modern trip!]

Always remember the dicta "Funny is good" and "Keep on keepin' on". Oh, yeh: "Happy new year" and all that!

Sincerely,
Master David

I wasn't busy but not around either. Around now and still not particularly busy but not much help either.
Looks fucked to me. Is it a big problem? I mean, who uses IE8? As long as it's Lynx compatible I'd say you're fine.

I am busy. Just very good at not getting around to it.

I don't know anything about webpages, but the mystery gap behaves like a link to this website. Something you probably know already.

Since everyone's so BUSY today, can anyone see why there's a massive mystery gap on UKR when looking at the site in Internet Explorer 8?

We don't even need 'Idiot :('! Let's oust him in a bloody coup and then after a week of realising no members of the junta know his password, reinstate him in a pretend yet equally bloody coup.

How about a serious blog about nature? May not want to link back to here or UK:R, like how Mel Brooks's name doesn't appear in the credits for the Elephant Man.

"Saw a bird in a tree today. I don't know the type of either the bird or the tree and it was cold and wet. :("

Rescue hedgehogs or something.

See.

I told you we're doing about two thirds of the work around here anyway. The site practically runs itself!

Terence White did a lot of that, and his work is definitely more interesting than a blog full of photos of mirrors with spiral designs around the edges. While raising a Goshawk the old fashioned way might not entirely be up your alley, maybe some lesser creature is? Like a squirrel, or a brain-damaged crackwhore. No, wait, that's PCL's idea again.

The problem for me is I have literally no "interests" any more. All I like doing now is walking about in fields, and that'd make an even less interesting blog than one full of photos of mirrors with spiral designs around the edges.

Eating Gadgets should be a new category. Just think of the massive number of pasta-making machine updates there could be.
