AMAZING CHRISTMAS BATTERY: The PHOTONPUMP
PHOTONPUMP! Although, seeing as it’s only an alkaline, it’s actually going to slowly push a few photons around before giving up.
Sent in by “Bungle” who has FAILED to capture this battery at the sort of quality it deserves.

Good to see batteries are still in fashion.
I imagine in the future people will be sending in photos of lithium ion batteries or tins of biofuel. Maybe it’ll become like the Matrix and we’ll be sending in photos of babies hooked up to machines? I bet we won’t even be using cameras, we’ll be uploading directly from our brains with some new file format. I suppose Canon, etc, will manufacture special photography contact lenses so there’ll still be some EXIF data to laugh at.

Nice, although was that photo taken with a mobile phone, a lomo or a pinhole camera?
I didn’t get any batteries for xmas but on returning to work this morning, one of my teammates has given me a couple of batteries he had at xmas that died before new year (they were in “some bits of electronic tat” he’d received, apparently).
Will try to get pics asap

“Team mates”, Giger?
Oh dear. I hope you are being ironic, else you’ll soon be having a “workshop” to discuss “solutions” with “stakeholders”.

Every marketing pitch should include the word, “photon”. Unless, it was meant as “photo n’ pump”. Either way, class.

Yes, team mates, sorry. No irony.
Other people in my team/section/dept/room that I work with.
I could have left it as “one of my mates” instead but no bugger would’ve believed that one, would they?

I got 3 AAA photonpump batteries at xmas along with a photonpump LED head torch, which conveniently takes 3 AAA photonpump batteries.

Lick My Photonpump.

Can I buy a Photonpump off you? ツ」1, or 50p if fully drained.
January 4th, 2010 on 10:20 pm
I will also have a Photonpump off you, Tom. I’ll go to ツ」1.25 including postage.

It’s an electron pump. Photons are light, electrons are electricity. A torch or a laser could be called a photon pump.
January 8th, 2010 on 2:40 pm
I’d claim that a pump wouldn’t include a resevior of whatever it’s pumping. You could call a battery an electron pump, but a torch should be a photon gun, surely?

Nice to see the shiteness of my C902 camera finally acknowledged…..
