POSSIBLE NEXT NEW CAMERA: Pentax H90
Look at it. Look at how quirky it is. Nothing says “I’m a bit quirky, I am” more than buying a mass produced product from a major international corporation.
Plus that orange one will be discounted to half its RRP inside a month, bringing it well within our price bracket.

Nothing says “I’m a bit quirky, I am”
Nothing, that is, except for that jacket of yours.
Though you’re right, that orange camera would probably go quite well to complete the look.

I saw someone with an ironically out of date 60s style camera with large flash near Shaftesbury Avenue last week. He was also dressed up in 60s chic ultra twat fancy dress with matching haircut. It was painful looking at him being so desperately alternative and retro. He must have got on the wrong bus in Camden.
For those that don’t know, Camden is where people that have rejected the mainstream in favour of an alternative yet equally trite mainstream come from.

I want one of those Olympus E-P1 things so I can avoid being a tourist when I’m taking photos on holiday.

That jacket has amused me soooo much…
Here’s a direct link for all it’s glory:

It’s a nice jacket. I’ve also got a lovely thornproof Harris Tweed one that’s nearly as nice. I’m feeling like I need to take photos of them all as proof.
I also haven’t shaved since that was taken, about three months ago.

How about áctually saying “I’m a bit quirky, I am”.
Sorry.

I’m actually genuinely jealous of you with your thornproof Harris Tweed, no joke. I have a Crombie tweed jacket that I inherited from my grandfather but it doesn’t fit too well these days. It’s quite possibly thornproof too, seeinga s he was a farmer, but I’ve not tested the theory.
Hmmm, is there much call for a tweed appreciation blog? I’m sure if you combine it with your pursuit of being hirsute there’s a market for it…

Vic Reeves did a documentary on tweed, which I recommend. It’s on youtube.
See, I can be nice.

Or, even quirkier, “I’m a bit quirky, am I”.

Ah yes, I saw that being advertised on ‘Blighty’, but as I can’t get that I couldn’t see it and then promptly forgot about it so didn’t download it to watch later.
But it’s here if anyone wants it and I shall try to remember to download it now, Cheers Mr. So-crates /BillandTed

Wow! “Pusillanimous” and “hirsute” both used on the same day. Are you purposely trying to scare off us Yanks?
The tweed jacket works. I’m just not sure about combining it with that shirt. Facial hair goes with anything, though.
