BATTERIES: The Tudor Motor
BATTERIES! How the heart skips a beat when you load up the emails on the internet machine and see THREE separate 4.7MB attachments of pure POWER – complete with overseas language and bizarre mascot.
“Swedish, with a nipple, kind of blondeish in colour and with stuff protruding out of it” – Tor.
Professional shooting, Tor. We hope you don’t mind us looking at your EXIF data and telling the world (or about 100 men and maybe still three women) that you’re using a Panasonic DMC-GF1 and that you’d deliberately turned the flash off.
We didn’t think any readers remained from when we used to do batteries.

I’m still here. And this one is the best I’ve ever seen. I like them damaged. And jaundiced.

You know we’re all still here and still loving the battery pics. Don’t go getting all depressed on us, you’ll bring us all down.
Foreign language (anslut?), a startled cat as a logo and lovely depth of field – Doesn’t get much better than this (only think I can think could improve it would be a bit more colour variety as the battery doesn’t stand out much against the brown background).
Lovely find though and certainly brightens an otherwise depressing day. Think I might have to see if there’s any new Teclast to make up for a depressing election.
I’m sure there’s got to be a good joke to be made about ‘Teclast’ and ‘Election’ but I can’t think of one at the moment.

Glorious battery photos, and –on a personal note — the EXIF data is always a welcome bonus. What lens did it have on? Go on, you can tell me. You know you want to.

That’s one shocking battery.
Almost too worried to look.
Like a fleeting glance at someone with a facial deformity and the subsequent mental dilemna of whether they’ll be looking in your direction should you take that PROPER SECOND LOOK just to make sure that ISN’T a potato shaped earring.

I’ve not experienced worry like that since Sexyexecs. You can have a good old look and the most you’ll get back is some anonymous comments and maybe Gary’ll get a legal letter demanding something or other (compliance and/or money I believe).

Fact: Henri Owen Tudor (30 September 1859 – 31 May 1928) was a Luxembourgish engineer, inventor, and industrialist. He developed the first practical lead-acid battery in 1886 …Tudor died in 1928, at the age of 68, of lead poisoning.
Fascinating and a good ending. Happy day.
