Apple’s WWDC 2010 innovations revealed
It looks like Apple is about to once again claim it’s invented something called a “folder”.
Sounds like a fantastic productivity tool! Imagine being able to group things together into a convenient “virtual” file. You could have a “folder” for music, a separate one for work… the possibilities are endless. Pic from here.

Fuckwits Drag. Drop. Orgazm.
Their little slogans make me want to tear someone’s fucking ears off and push them into their eyes until blood starts gushing out their nostrils. An infuriating bunch of fucker cunts. Hold features back, on purpose, then announce them to their gormless sycophantic shit glugging Stephen Fry sympathisers to rapturous applause, who will say “hey, that’s cool” in an unthinking, relaxed, pointless, way, even if they are from Britain and have no right to use the word cool unless specifically referring to the temperature of something.
I can hear the voice that would say it too, some knowing, smarmy American SanFranCuntsco smug shit bollocks fuck. Nyuh Nyuh. Nyuh. Nyuh.
And how is the iphone connected to productivity? Wasting time looking at your portable screen displaying the latest news headlines which (a) haven’t changed since you last saw them on the TV or on your real computer, and (b) the general public don’ need to know about anyway because they’re pointless, is not productivity.
Fucking crumbs.

Folders. Drag. Drop. Organize. Rename into something ambiguous. Hide in another folder. Open at appropriate time.

Dick, can I congratulate you on your encapsulation of all of my Apple based anger into one convenient post.
I share your angst brother.
And what do the drops of liquid signify in the picture? I suppose they were just using the latest “cool” feature in some software package beginning with the letter “i”.

…And what do the drops of liquid signify in the picture? I suppose they were just using the latest “cool†feature in some software package beginning with the letter “iâ€.
Well those would have to be “iDrops”, of course.
And yes, I realize that might have just been a rhetorical question and I’ve overlooked some subtle sarcasm or irony or something. It’s hard to sense these thing online.

Much as I hate to admit it, they do make some innovative stuff that works with as little hassle as possible. The bastards. It’s the implied smugness they imbue into every product that sickens right thinking people. That advert where they describe the tablet-thing as ‘magical’ makes me want to cockpunch* the nearest Apple employee.
*from International Karate on the Commodore 64. A well timed cockpunch ended any fight immediately.

Of course the iRony here is that Dick Socrates owns a Mac Pro. Who would have expected such subtle humour?
