Ironically celebrate the history of LEGO

What is it with LEGO? Why has every fin-topped media cunt got a LEGO t-shirt on and a selection of LEGO men on his desk? It's small plastic bricks for children. Once you're old enough to be left playing with it unsupervised, you ought to stop obsessing about it.

Choke on it

From here - 50 Years of the LEGO Brick, if you still haven't grown out of making ironic purchases of tat to make your house/office space look quirky.

Speak for yourself mate. I'm still looking for the infamous yellow three-er corner piece to finish the gimp cage for my action man.

diber = something an Australian would use.

Now THIS is what I wish I'd had all those years ago when my parents bought me Lego

I'm ashamed to say I'm still a major Lego fan, and if I still lived with my parents I would quite happily sit in my room in my pants building models all day rather than wash/go to work/socialise. That is until I realised how detached I had become from REALITY.

I've got that massive 6-wheeled M:Tron tank thing with all the magnets, and a really big pirate ship. I am single. :(

I'll pass. There's no space for that lego book on my shelf because of all the non-ironic comic book and sci-fi toys. The shelf in my bedroom. At my dad's house. I am also single :(

Single blokes:

Ditch the weird sci-fi stuff for just long enough to snare a female and have yourself some kids, preferably including a male one (otherwise it's all princesses and ponies with unfeasable hair), you can then revist all the lego / scalextrics / sci-fi models stuff completely legitimately in the name of spending quality time with your spawn. It's a winner.

And watch it salivate all over my previous collectables? Never! Also, if you dó get a ponytail edition, you'll have go the trouble of getting rid of it. I understand that's frowned upon.

Children ruin gadgets. I've had to erect a fence around my 51" LCD to avoid it getting touched and smeared with gob.

Lego = still the shizzle

This gay book = Gay, bohemian appropriation of Lego, therefore gayness embodied and gay.

I want to rip the Lego blocks out of that little side arm and put them in places where they will embed themselves into the feet of whoever buys this gay book, for it is gay.
