"Mr Battery Photos" returns, with a superb German selection - and bonus FACE
It's been a few months since we last heard from Lee. We were starting to get worried. Not worried for his safety or well-being, but worried that we'd stop getting sent great material for updates and would have to start doing the legwork ourselves again.
But it's all OK! Lee is all OK! Lee and his amazingly-well-shot battery photos is BACK. He also named his photos well and provided numbered captions in his email to make it easier for us AND he has branched out into Gadgets with FACES.
He is a god among readers, frankly. The rest of you losers are DISGUSTING compared to the MIGHTY LEE.
OPENING PREAMBLE

While many of your readers have been gallivanting around the world 'discovering themselves' or whatever, some of us have actually been working. In Munich for the European Space Agency for example, where I came across this beautiful selection!"

Batteries haven't gone out of fashion (as far as I'm aware they never were IN fashion)

There's an oblique reference to Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, when you zoom in on the hi-res version of this photo. From this small detail, I deduce that you were standing somewhere near Neuschwanstein, wearing only a pair of frayed red underpants and an Alpaca-herder's hat.
The last photo, I should say. You can only see someone's table and wall in the battery pictures; though I'll hazard a guess that the underpants and hat are the same.
Lee's standards are slipping. The five-star battery is not square in the frame in picture 4.
Lee ought to severely punish himself. Badly. Bad Lee. Badl... oh forget it.
Sadly all my batteries are now boring rechargable ones in an effort to stove off the oncoming financial apocalypse. So its good to see some real batteries again. Huzzah.
It looks like when you turn the head the mountain index on that middle tube part aligns with the black line depending on which mountain it's pointing at. That's pretty cool, and worth 50 cents if you ask me. Unless, that is, this mechanism is active before you pay, and payment only allows recourse to the lenses. No, in that case I'd have to retract my opinion that it was worth the money and advise you to simply rearrange the head to utilise the index function for free, omittingt he additional function of magnification.
I want people to be absolutely clear about my stance on this issue.
If you look at the viewing device closely you'll notice that it has a 'startled' look on it's 'face'. No doubt aghast at the price too!
