Hyundai battery MEGA DEAL

Every battery MUST GO!

"Whilst in town yesterday looking to buy some batteries for my ever consuming 360 controller I thought I would check out 'Poundland' and see if I could get a bargain, and I found this monster deal, for only £1."

"The standard pack is 12 batteries, but it seems someone at HQ over christmas, maybe whilst at the office party a bit pissed on WKD, promised to add on another three to help out the British spending public in the credit crunch."

"I've yet to open them up and try them out, they will probably last 5 mins per pair, and I'll be swapping them out whilst getting my ass eaten off by zombies. Maybe this could be a new feature called Battery Megapacks, see who can get the best bargain, as I'm pretty sure this can be beaten" - Sam.

CAN IT BE BEATEN?
Yes, by us, over a year ago.

I found 12 Sony AA batteries for £1.49. Is that a better or worse deal, I wonder?

Depends how you look upon the idea of batteries exploding in your face. On the one hand, the blowing up is an extra bonus not advertised on the packaging or the batteries while on the other, a trip to hospital with burns probably isn't everybodies cup of tea.

I personally wouldn't buy any Sony product, much less their batteries.

Rechargables? Or have you been scared off by the LIES about only using non-rechargable batteries that's stuck onto 360 controllers to scare people into buying their fucking extortionate rechargable pack?

I bought some of those Sony Batteries. They're a bit low power, but they work fine in my toy Tricorder.

So basically, great for toy Tricorders, not great for much else.

Complete bollocks and those scumbags know it!!

They give you 12 right? Then they give you 3! 3 is and odd number. When the bastard remote control only works 2 inches from the TV and you go searching for some batteries, you alrady used the 12 in some naff toy for the kids, you then used the other two in a torch so they're fucked, so you find the last, lonely one good one. You then have to find another not quite on its last legs AA so you can watch a bit of the big-titted bird on the celeb dancy thing with the missus.

They know 3 is an odd number to give away to to make it so you have an even numbered count you have to buy two packets of the bastards!

SCUMBAGS I WANT EVEN NUMBER FREE!!!!!

( Note to self, get a fecking life! )

I can confirm that these batteries aren't bad at all, so far I've played about 3 hours of FIFA 09 on a set of two and no sign of dying yet.
