How many types of spring are there?

You won't BELIEVE how many types of spring there are!

We'd have guessed maybe 150 or 200 max.

And i came hoping to find find holding competition contestants in spring dresses. Or some other hints of spring and some of the "would". Or at least battery with a spring background.

Now, would, the rightmost.

"wave", "constant force", "compression", "die".

There's an entire story in there, and who doesn't know that you might very well die after some serious constant force?

So, is this the Spring edition of their catalogue, or are they just labouring the point.

Wouldn't; not the rightmost, anyway. That's a sinusoidal wave spring. Unlike conventinal coils that have a round (or sometimes oval) section, these are made of high-tolerance flat steel strips and can have very sharp edges. So that one is the one that would lacerate your penis.

Possibly this could increase it's attractiveness in some eyes?

I would, but it would have to be with the third in from the left. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday.

This is like something they'd use for the joke publication skit on Have I Got News For You. Then there'd be a caption competition like this:

"World's supplies of _______ running dangerously low"

And Paul Merton, quick as a flash would shout "Duck-billed platypuses with the face of Michael Winner". And then, after a little bit of thinking, Ian Hislop would say something political like "Toilet roll and hiding places in Jacqui Smith's house". But really the missing words would be "Curl-nosed springs", and thus we all have a good old laugh at the expense of people who are interested in springs either professionally or just through some esoteric appeal (probably in some way sexual).

Life, oh life, oh li-i-i-i-iiiife, oh life, doo doo doo doo.

Lies. There are 8 kinds of springs. According to the cover image, the pattern is reversed, then repeated.

I will not be purchasing springs from this company anytime soon.

Were the other 16,492+ springs unavailable for photo?

I will hold out for the Fall Spring collection. I hear it is off the hook.

wv: relas Saler backwards. Clearly Idiot has bought some spring company stock.

@Weatherbox

Exactly. I can't believe how often Paul Merton gets away with the exact same type of joke. Ian Hislop does the "look at me bluffing like I know something about Manchester United - you all know I haven't a clue what I'm rambling about - I'm way too cultured for sports" routine too often though, so I don't know which of them I hate most.

I would love to ram a ________ up their bumholes.
