Man has NEW IDEA to do with batteries!
No, not lubing them up and inserting them. We've all already had that idea. That's not a good idea, even after months and months of stretching exercises. The hole in the end never gets big enough.
This idea is building in a little plug into the battery itself, so people who live in unsafe third-world countries where the 'earth' connection is not mandatory on their household supply can plug a battery directly into the wall.

What do the blue 'mental' bits do??
They're the tasty topping on the 'crust'
I reckon I could wedge one into a plug socket at home by sticking a spoon or something into the earth at the same time. Might have to warn the kids not to touch it though. Sold!
Would.

Badben...you...have kids?
Yeah. Mainly I'd seem normal if you met me. Maybe. I just come here to salve my emotionally crippled aspect.
Surley you must have noticed that the third pin on the plug is plastic on most things and that the UK is the only country I know that has to have the third pin.
They should have a two-minute timer that would allow one to exit the room before the charging, that will inevitably lead to thing explode, would begin. What a nice prank toy this could then be. Sony should license this charger.
Excellent, I just posted this on Twitter with a auto-generated tinyurl and got http://tinyurl.com/csuntd
